Each developer or owner sets the standard for their asset or has a management company either set those standards that have been universally accepted and adjust those standards based on the individual needs of the property. Basic to all is safety, that is provided in a myriad of ways, be it by security personnel, a housekeeper, maintenance, marketing, leasing, management or executive personnel to name some of those responsible.

Safety from personal injury, physical assault, theft and other issues is one form, the other is safety in one’s surroundings. Accepted standards may not be adhered to by developers/owners for many reasons, one usual reason is budgetary the other is those listed above whom have not done their jobs correctly.
